Can you tell me the qualification and background of the editor?
Full credentials of our translators and editors will be supplied relevant to the project that has been requested.
Once you send us your RFQ we will assign the most qualified person/team relevant to your request.
All of our translators are well qualified and have relevant experience in the fields of the documents they translate.
Can you handle specialized fields?
Like most companies we have staffs who each specialize in their own respective fields. As a company with a 50 year tradition we have naturally developed many skilled translators in many fields. Many of those have 20 years or more experience, thus we can cater for most fields in-house.
What are the differences between Check and Edit?
Check:
A review and rewrite of erroneous technical terms and grammatical errors.
Edit:
A review of inconsistencies in the manuscript and a rewrite
according to journal submission guidelines.
(See our Journal Submissions page in this website for more info).
Is Edit good for any journal submission?
Yes! We consider that editing is essential for inclusion in any type of journal submission.
Can you submit my manuscript after the Edit?
We provide all the processes involving journal submission including communication with journal publishers.
Do I get charged for asking questions after Check or Edit?
No!
There are no charges for asking questions. However, if there is a need to review the manuscript again, we may charge additionally.
Can you give advice on which journals I should submit my manuscript to?
Yes!
Our editor can suggest journals for submission, but we cannot guarantee whether the manuscript will be accepted or not.
Can I request the same checker or editor?
Yes!
This is optimum, as the editor who previously worked on the check is naturally familiar with the material and will therefore be more cost effective.
There may be times when the checker or editor is assigned to other jobs and they cannot work on your manuscript immediately. Depending on your deadline it will either then be re-assigned or we may need to ask you for more time.
