Editing

variegated has been used instead of various [while variegated can mean showing variety , it is generally employed for variegated plant (a plant with two-tone leaves), so it is much better to use various here]. In addition, administrated has been used instead of administered [administrated is an uncommon variant, so it is much better to use administered].

Several other corrections were made to improve an awkward sentence. For example, compares.... between before and after is a hackneyed construction that is better avoided and was altered accordingly. Also, intravenous drip infusion should be either intravenous infusion or drip infusion, with the former being preferred. The last part of the sentence was rearranged to improve readability.

Based on information obtained from the Methods section, Tables and Figures, 3 groups of rats were used in the experiment. This was not mentioned in the original Results section, but was added because it is important to remind the reader about such a point at the start of Results.

This is actually 2 separate sentences incorrectly joined by a comma.

the treatment with Il-28 [nonspecific and not grammatical] was changed to infusion of Il-28 [specific and correct grammar]. In addition, the infusion rate is probably wrong because interleukins are active at very low concentrations (such as µg or ng), so a query was made to the author about changing mg. Fasting plasma sugar and immune reactive insulin are incorrect and were changed to fasting plasma glucose and immunoreactive insulin, respectively. Finally, the two sentences were combined to improve readability [however was deleted].

“one hour” was changed to “1 hr” as required by the instructions of the target journal. With reference to data in the Tables/Figures, “there was a considerable increase of fasting plasma glucose (FPG)” was changed to “there was a significant increase of fasting plasma glucose in groups A and B (both p<0.001).” This provides precise information about the changes of FPG and the relevant groups of animals, unlike the previous text. The term “statistically significant” was changed to “significant” as required by the instructions of the target journal.

Editing
profound decline was changed to marked decrease [both have a similar meaning, but the latter is better for medical/scientific reports]. The two methods of indicating time [30 mins and 60-min] were unified as 30 min and 60 min. Also, the unnecessary word same was deleted [this same change → this change; note: the same change is reasonable]. The last part of the sentence is obviously not grammatical and was re-arranged.

marked decrease was changed to significant decrease after reviewing Figure 1. In addition, the number of groups showing a significant decrease of C-peptide, which was not mentioned in the original sentence, was added after reviewing the data in Fig. 1. The sentence was also rewritten to read more smoothly.
